The Dark Quartz Ring is a ring in Dark Souls II.
In-Game Description
- A ring bestowed upon students of a certain standard at the Melfian Magic Academy.
Its dark-infused quartz increases dark defense.
- Pyromancer Glocken was criticized for crafting these replicas, but it is well known that they have saved the life of many a traveler.
Availability[]
- The regular Dark Quartz Ring can be bought from Rosabeth of Melfia for 2,000 souls.
- The +1 version is a drop from Lord Tseldora.
- The +2 version is a drop from the Leydia Witches in the Undead Crypt.
- The +3 version can be found in Shulva, Sanctum City, on a corpse hanging from the roof of a tower near the Sanctum Walk bonfire. Can be accessed by activating the nearest switch, dropping on the rising tower, and then jumping.

Grants a varying amount of defense against Dark attacks, depending on the level of the ring.
