Dark Bead (闇の飛沫) is a Sorcery in Dark Souls: Artorias of the Abyss.

In-Game Description

Abyss sorcery discovered by an Oolacile sorcerer on the brink of madness. Fire successive Dark Orbs.

In contrast to standard soul sorceries, Abyss sorceries are weighty and inflict physical damage. Perhaps a human soul is closer to matter in it's humanity.

Availability

Found on a corpse behind a Bloathead Sorcerer in the Chasm of the Abyss.

General information

Dark Bead fires seven projectiles in a roughly 60 degree angle in front of the player, before traveling a good distance. It has a relatively fast cast time, the same as Soul Arrow. As with other Abyss sorceries, Dark Bead deals high stamina reduction if it hits a blocking opponent; the spell is potent when multiple beads are able to hit, making it more deadly against individual opponents at close range.

Each bead has a magic attack power of 1.1 times the catalyst's magic adjust and 100 base physical attack, which is affected by your catalyst's Strength and Dexterity scaling.
