The Crucifix of the Mad King is a halberd in Dark Souls III: The Ringed City.
In-Game Description
- A cross spear hung with a malformed corpse.
- Once, a mad king was born to the pygmy royalty and Shira, knight of Filianore, put him to rest. But Shira's cross spear, unable to kill the undying king, only pinned itself to him. Shira delivered them together to the darkroom, where she stayed and held them close.
- Skill: Mad King's Folly
Slam malformed corpse into the ground to briefly awaken it, then fillet with strong attack to trigger a roar, a blessing, or vexation.

Characteristics
- Strong attacks and jump attacks are those of the Great Club, dealing Strike damage, though without the increased poise.
- Cannot be infused but can be buffed.
- Innate Dark damage with Faith scaling.
- Synergizes well with Dark Blade.
- It is the only halberd with no Dexterity requirement or scaling.
- Its weapon art, Mad King's Folly, performs an attack with increased poise that costs no FP. Following it up with a strong attack will cause the weapon to apply a random effect. See its page for more details.
- It's the only halberd that has greatsword poise health so it can hyper armor through attacks with less poise needed than all the other halberds of its class.
