Type | Armor Set |
The Chaos Set is a light armor set in Dark Souls II.
Availability[]
Gifted by Royal Sorcerer Navlaan upon speaking to him while in Hollow form after completing his assassination quests. Alternatively, it can be acquired by releasing Navlaan, killing him, and purchasing it from Merchant Hag Melentia. (Navlaan drops the hood upon death)
Characteristics[]
The Chaos Set is one of the most balanced sets in the game. It boasts exceptional fire and dark defenses, as well as good physical defenses for its very low weight, and high magic, lightning, and petrification resistance, as well as poison, bleed, and curse resistance. Its only downsides are that its physical defense will not be enough to protect the wearer from hard-hitting raw physical attacks, so dodging is an absolute must, and it lacks any poise.

Notes[]
- For pure pyromancy builds, the Chaos Set is one of the best, if not the best set in the game for pyromancy.
