The Chain Set is a light armor set in Dark Souls.

Availability[]

Purchased from the Undead Male Merchant, located near the first bonfire in the Undead Burg.
Individual set pieces drop from the Chained Prisoner near the end of the Oolacile Township (Artorias of the Abyss only).

Plot[]

The Crestfallen Warrior wears the Chain Set, minus the coif.

Characteristics[]

This armor set gives decent Poise for a set accessed early on in the game. It is heavier than most light sets, and falls in between light armor sets and medium armor sets in terms of weight, defense, and Poise.

It has the lowest lightning defense of all light sets.
