The Bonewheel Shield is a greatshield in Dark Souls.

In-Game Description

Giant wooden wheel encircled by spikes. Half-melded to a strange skeleton.

Can be used as a greatshield, only for the great gaps. But at least the spikes turn into weapons with a good spin. Strange indeed!

Availability

The Bonewheel Shield is an uncommon drop from Bonewheel Skeletons.

Characteristics

As the description implies, it is the worst greatshield in terms of overall defense, but has a powerful spin attack. The shield has heavy deflection and when upgraded to crystal the durability is 20.

Resistance Defense

Along with Physical and Elemental damage reduction, weapons also have hidden stats that reduce the amount of status build-up while blocking.

Attack	Description

One-handed Strong Attack	Holds shield out and spins it. Can hit up to 3 times.*
Two-handed Weak Attack	Same as one-hand weak attack.

Jump Attack	Slams shield into the ground.
Running Attack	Holds shield up and runs forward, then slams it down at the end.*
Rolling Attack	Flips shield upside down and brings it down against the ground.
Kick	Push away with the shield.
Left-handed Weak Attack	Block.
Left-handed Strong Attack	Holds shield out and spins it. Can hit up to 3 times.*
