The Blue Sentinels is a covenant in Dark Souls III.

In-Game Description

When a member of the way of Blue is threatened by a dark spirit, the Blue Sentinels, in compliance with an ancient accord, assume the form of blue spirits, and help to root out the invader.

How to join

The covenant item is received by talking to Horace the Hushed at the Halfway Fortress bonfire in the Road of Sacrifices, or at Firelink Shrine after defeating the Deacons of the Deep. He will also drop the item if he is killed.

Benefits

The Blue Sentinels are a covenant (along with the Blade of the Darkmoon) that puts special emphasis on aiding players in the Way of Blue covenant that have been invaded.

With the covenant item equipped, the player will be automatically summoned to the world of a Way of Blue Adherent who has been invaded by a red or purple dark spirit. After being summoned, the player, now a blue spirit, must protect the host and defeat the invader to receive a Proof of a Concord Kept before returning to their world. Alternatively, they can successfully escort the host to the boss of the area.

Rewards

Once the player reaches Anor Londo, they may talk to Company Captain Yorshka and become a Blade of the Darkmoon, provided that they have obtained the Darkmoon Loyalty gesture. Proofs may be turned in to Yorshka in exchange for rewards.
