Blue Sentinel Targray

Blue Sentinel Targray is a character in Dark Souls II.

He's voiced by Daniel Flynn, who previously voiced Solaire of Astora, Vamos and the Giant Blacksmith in Dark Souls, and later Alfred in Bloodborne.

Description[]

An apostle of the Blue Sentinels covenant, Targray demands a rigid discipline both from himself and fellow covenant members when acting as a guide (likely for Way of Blue covenant members) from the covenant. While devoting his life to his mission, his actions and words occasionally denote a narrow mind.^[1]

He will be dismissive of players who have not yet acquired a Token of Fidelity; this item can be earned in online play while participating as a white phantom or can be found along with a Pharros' Lockstone on a broken pillar in Huntsman's Copse, near the Bridge Approach bonfire.

His set can be bought from Merchant Hag Melentia, after his death, like other characters.
Targray can be a valuable asset to Faith focused builds as he sells infinite Boltstones, which are used for Lightning infusions.
If brought to lower than half health in combat, he will pull out a Protective Chime and cast a miracle with the same effect as Replenishment.
If killed, Targray's Gravestone will appear on the balcony of the Cathedral of Blue, where he usually stands. 6,000 souls are required to summon his ghost.

Answer "Yes"	"You are no longer a mere vagabond. You are now a guardian, a Knight of the Blue. Proud knight, take this. Wear this ring, and shine light upon stone. Then, you will hear the voices of the blue apostles. Listen for their cries of help, and repel the malicious invaders. This is the proud work of the Knights of the Blue, the way they elevate themselves to a higher plane. I'll provide what you need. You may visit me at any time."
