Bloathead Sorcerers, also known as Abyss Guards, are enemies in Dark Souls.

Description[]
There are two kinds of Bloathead Sorcerers: "normal" and "frenzied". The "frenzied" are more aggressive and deal more Magic damage. They can be differentiated by their glowing, red eyes.
Lore[]
Like Bloatheads, Bloathead Sorcerers were the former denizens of Oolacile, corrupted by Manus' influence. However, Bloathead Sorcerers are female and were once sorcerers.
Notes[]
- Poison inflicted by their melee attacks cause 3 damage per second once contracted, while Poison inflicted by their Dark Fog causes about 9.4 damage per second.
