The Blacksmith Hammer is a hammer in Dark Souls III.

In-Game Description

Metal hammer passed down amongst blacksmiths of the shrine. Serves as a strike weapon, but also excels at reducing poise and breaking the guard of a shield.
Of course, a hammer's true potential is realized in the hands of a blacksmith.
Skill: Perseverance
Assume an unfaltering stance of prayer to temporarily boost poise. Damage reduced while activated.

AvailabilityEdit

Found in the Untended Graves, lying on Andre's anvil at the spot where he normally can be found in Firelink Shrine.

CharacteristicsEdit

In comparison to other hammers, the Blacksmith Hammer is virtually idtenitcal to the Mace, although there are a few differences.

At base damage, the Blacksmith's Hammer deals 10% less than the Mace, and also has slightly higher Strength and Dexterity requirements; the Blacksmith's Hammer doesn't scale with Dexterity either.

However, the Blacksmith's Hammer also shares the Mace's FP requirements for it's Weapon Art with and without the Farron Ring, and also weighs the same as well. The Blacksmith's Hammer even has 15% more durability than the Mace.

All in all, the Blacksmith's Hammer is a strong well rounded weapon and, like the Mace, is a good choice for Strength-oriented builds
