The Black Set is a light armor set in Dark Souls.
Availability[]
The Black Set can be pillaged off a corpse in the Annex portion of the Painted World of Ariamis, hanging from a collapsed wall on the exterior side of the central decayed tower. It can most easily be accessed after finding the Annex Key, although it is possible to reach it without the key.
Plot[]
The Black Set is worn by Oswald of Carim and is closely associated with the goddess Velka. The set found in the Painted World of Ariamis is just one example of the many ties Velka had with the area, others being the Velka's Rapier, Crow Demons and the Vow of Silence miracle.
Characteristics[]
The entire set has no Poise and below average physical defense, but boasts above average Bleed, Poison, Magic, Fire and Curse resistances.
