Type | Light Armor Set |
Big Hat's Set is a light armor set in Dark Souls.
Availability[]
- The Big Hat is dropped by Big Hat Logan after he turns hostile.
- The Sage Robe, Traveling Gloves and Traveling Boots are found in a chest in the room where Big Hat Logan sits after being rescued in The Duke's Archives. This chest only appears after he has lost his sanity and been killed by the player. The chest will appear once a loading screen is seen.
Plot[]
Big Hat's Set is hinted to be nothing more than unkempt, worn out sorcerer's apprentice robes. Big Hat Logan used his abnormally large hat to block out stares from passersby so that he could concentrate on his thoughts. At the end of his lucidity during his studies in the Duke's Archives, Big Hat Logan discarded his set in his attempts to become more like his idol, Seath the Scaleless.
Characteristics[]
The Big Hat offers the highest Magic resistance of any headgear in the game, as well as being relatively light. The rest of the set is fairly typical for a light set, with low weight at the cost of low defenses in general and no Poise.
Notes[]
Despite having identical names in-game, the Traveling Gloves in Big Hat's set is aesthetically and statistically different from the Traveling Gloves of the Holy Set.
