The Antiquated Set is a light armor set in Dark Souls. The set is also worn by Dusk of Oolacile.
Availability[]
The Antiquated Set is obtainable after talking with Dusk of Oolacile. She first must be rescued from the Golden Crystal Golem behind the Hydra in Darkroot Basin.
The set will spawn on a corpse that appears at the far end of the lake, near where the Golden Golem spawns. If the set does not appear initially, quitting and reloading or exiting the area and re-entering can force it to spawn.
Plot[]
The Antiquated Set was worn by female royalty in the realm of Oolacile. The set encountered in game belongs to Dusk of Oolacile, who eventually perished in the Darkroot Basin.
Characteristics[]
The Antiquated Set is most notable for its headpiece, the Crown of Dusk, which increases magical damage dealt and taken. The set as a whole possesses very high Curse resistance, as well as magic defense, but is weak against all other types of damage overall.
Notes[]
- Prior to patch 1.04/1.05, the Antiquated Skirt gave by far the best defense and resistance for its weight, although it still had no Poise. It was nerfed heavily with the patch.
- The Crown of Dusk cannot be upgraded.
