The Antiquated Plain Set is a light armor set in Dark Souls III: The Ringed City.
In-Game Description
- Ordinary garb from an ancient land of sorcery. The gold embellishments betray a faint residue of magic, but this clothing was never intended for battle.
- When a mission visited the Ringed City long ago, one of its younger missionaries elected to stay behind. It was he who became the last recorded Spear of the Church.
Availability[]
- The Loincloth is found in The Dreg Heap, within Earthen Peak's swamp guarded by Poisonhorn Bugs and an Angel.
- The garb and gloves are found within the Ringed City, on a corpse in front of the altar before fighting Darkeater Midir.
Characteristics[]
The set provides very poor physical protection, but very strong all-round elemental defense. It is also extremely light, weighing less in total than individual pieces of heavier armor sets; this in particular can make it an ideal set should the player wish to attempt to stay under 30% equipment load for the extra roll distance. However, it also has poor status effect resistance, being particularly susceptible to Bleed and Frost.
