DS2 is interesting. I mean it's by no means bad, but it's basically the middle child of the DS series, Having Mediocre Boss fights (some really good ones some really shit ones) and very decent level design.

Honestly if you just want me to name out everything.

DS1 has "decent" boss fights, Some are really easy, Some are really Shit. Level design is godly.

DS2 has great level design, some of the best fights in game (Sir Alonne, etc.) but lacks in terms of mechanisms.

DS3 Boss fights are great, but its essentially DS1 but Better (except in terms of level design)

I also Recommend Garden of Eyes.

Just think of the second phase as the normal abyss watcher, but with bigger AOE, and 2 new moves.

I mean. just Backstab him to death tbh.

They aren't very Aggressive, Never get greedy when there are 2+ watchers

I mean I would recommend leaving about 4 flasks at the second phase, if needed, pop an ember.

Try and minimise the amount of Flasks you use for the first phase.

Ohh Abyss watchers?

I mean first off, try and parry them if you can't. then well.

First off, abuse the fact that they have low poise with something that is heavy, I find "the Greatsword" always a great choice.

I would go with backstabbing them most of the time. I would go with Backstab the main one once (after the 3 hit combo ending with him leaping up and smashing down) the second Watcher should appear. if not backstab him again. most of the time abyss watchers have low poise, but some combos give them infinite poise. so be careful for Combos that are the 5 hit one and the 3 hit one.

When the third watcher appears, let him deal with the watchers first (maybe kill off the other watcher that isn't the main one) then Just keep on backstabbing him

For the second phase, I would also recommend Zoning him.

And punishing his 3 hit combo. or whatever move that ends with hi leaping up and smashing down (be mindful that at the end it will end with a small AoE that will stun you and consequently killing you)

Be VERY CAREFUL about that combo that has a slash that he spins 3 times, this could lead to insta kill tbh.
