A part of me has always had the feeling that Knight Artorias is the Lost sinner. Mostly due to the Sinner's move set reminding me of Artorias. If he was corrupted by the abyss then couldn't that mean he became the lost sinner? Locked up and corrupted. I'm probably wrong and have no real evidence to back it up but it's something.

But the games no fun then.

But it could have been a little harder. While it's good to have an easy boss fight to start of new comers to the games, they could have up'ed the challenge of it, but you're point is valid and I can see why they're easy for the newer players.

Whether it be because of tactics, combat abilites, look or general lore.

My friend said it took him a couple of tries until he had to summon someone to fight the last giant, so when I went to fight him I expected a hard boss fight, but on my first attempt he was dead before I had to even heal. Last giant and Dragon Rider are for me the two easiest bosses in Dark souls 2.
